The New Normal

Market List; Spicy Salad Mix, with Pea shoots, Various head Lettuces. Pea Shoots for stir fry, Spring Onions, Non GMO Chicken and Cayuga Duck Eggs.
Plant List;
 Tomato Plants- Lemon Boy, Early Girl, Sweet 100, Pork Chop, Japanese Black, Caspian Pink, Pantano Romanesco, Yellow Pear, Tommy Toe, Green Zebra, Violet Jasper, Black Plum,
 Amish Paste, Jet Star, Arkansas Traveler,
Golden Jubilee, Mortgage Lifter and Sun Sugar,. I probably missed 1 or 2. (Next week we will add, Black From Tula and Purple Carbon.)
Herbs- Italian Parsley, Mammoth Dill and a couple of Tarragon.
I have a few 4 packs of Okra, a mixture of Clemson spineless and Red Burgundy.

Pictured above is a frame put up by Bill and some friends from Kentucky, last week while I was at Market. This will hold up the shade cloth that we put over the bulk of the tomatoes to protect them from scalding during the hottest days. The frame runs East to West which is how we will plant the tomatoes. It won't cover the entire amount but enough to keep any of them from burning while still allowing access to sun and air.

So Market this week; The Park is still not allowing vehicle traffic off of Magnolia. As silly as it seems, you will still have to park and walk. We will still be sporting masks and gloves and it is requested that customers do the same. They are not allowing Food vendors yet either. They did say previously that more vendors would be allowed in this week but this changed yesterday. I just want to say how much we appreciated everyone who came out last week and supported us. I know it's been difficult and inconvenient but the commitment from our customers has completely shone through.
It looks like the rain will be sparse during the Market hours.
We'll see you Saturday !

God's blessings on you and yours,

TTFN

Sam and Bill
