Market List:
TOMATOES, Tomatillos, Pesticide Free Pears,
Lemon Cucumbers,
Rainbow Mix Cherry Tomatoes
Egyptian Walking Onions, Wood Sorrel, Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans and Grass Fed Lamb
We will have a lot of tomatoes on Saturday and of course, a lot of tomatillos, it's that time of year. Also, as many of you know, it's the Market's Harvest Festival. Four Hands Brewery will be there and there will be no entrance fee. YAY!
Don't forget, we will be gone from Market for 2 weekends It's so strange to be saying that. It's never happened before. This weekends the time to stock up on tomatoes, salsa and pickles. Otherwise it will be a long 2 weeks.
When I got home from Market last Saturday, here was my surprise; I named her Tomato
Unfortunately, the mom came down sick the next evening. Not sure what it was, suspecting a retained afterbirth. It took a couple of days to bring her around, electrolytes, probiotics, medication and supplementation for the baby, but she's fine now. Both mom and baby are flourishing.
It will be a long day at the Market, we will be there until 3 so hang around a little longer.
Another cool and clear Saturday. We look forward to seeing you before our little time off.
