Short and Sweet

Well, I had some big, long informative blog planned about Squash bugs (EVIL) and blister beetles, but it has been another crazy week here on the farm. We spent part of the week in Indiana trying to get Bill settled in. It's crazy, he will be home nearly every week. Praise God! Finally !

Anyway- Here is the market list.

Sunflowers, Sunflowers, Sunflowers!!! Singles, bouquets and Mixed Bouquets

Lamb- Kabob Meat- Bone in Stew- Marrow Bones- Organ meat and 1 Shoulder Roast- there will be more steaks etc. next week.

Purslane- Yummy, antioxidant and vitamin C filled,  forgotten green

Sassy Summer Mix- Lambs Quarter, Beet, Chard, Kale, Radish, Arugula and Wood Sorrel

Violet Jasper tomatoes

Basil

Sam's Surprise! Bread and Butter Refrigerator Dills- made with Robin's Honey

Sam's Salty Dill's

Sam's Famous Salsa

Tomatillos

AND for sure, the Best Lemonade in St. Louis- now made with organic lemons

We hope to see you all there. Speaking of "seeing you all". Someone left an anonymous comment about coming to the farm for veggies and stuff but being unable to find address, phone etc. Contact info is posted on our website -www.sunflowersavannah.com and you can find us simply by typing in the farm name.
We do not have address information online- While we welcome Farm visits, we are just so busy that it is preferable for them to be scheduled.
As Vicki Lander from Flower Hill Farm says,
" and we'll get back to you when we're clean."

TTFN

Sam and Bill (who is already home for the weekend)

Not so short after all
