The Beans are Here

Market List
Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans;
Yard Long Beans, Tomatoes, Lemon Cucumbers, Foragers Salad Mix, Tomatillos, Many Sunflower Bouquets

No Lamb this week, every piece went last week. We will have more in a couple of weeks. I have one scheduled at the processor next week.

There are a lot of Pole beans, all 6 rows are finally producing. It takes about 2 hours to pick them. Therefore there will be more in your bag for the same price.
I planted a lot because in April we heard that they plowed up the Bean and other vegetable fields in Florida and that there would be a shortage of Frozen vegetables this Winter. My plan is to put some in the freezer for our customers. I also blanched Purslane and put some of that away too.

We've had a couple of good volunteers here lately. Two from the Wwoof program and one from an advertisement that Known and Grown put on Instagram. Honestly, I don't know how I would make it with out them.
This week we ordered a load of topsoil and the Wwoofers refilled the beds eroded from all the rain this season.
On Fridays, Caitlin comes and washes coolers and produce, packs those coolers with eggs she gathers, loads the van with tomatillos that she helped pick and everything else that we bring to the market. She doesn't realize it but she's saving my life. She thinks she's having an adventure. Today she chased and tagged ducklings.

So that's about all that's going on around here.
We'll see you tomorrow at
 Tower Grove.

God's blessings on you and yours,

TTFN,

Bill and Sam
