So this week we were lucky enough to get this great set of Wwoofers; Roxanne and Ruth. These lively girls hail from the UK. This pic was snapped right after I picked them up late from the train station in a rainstorm. So far, they've been cheerful, resourceful, helpful and versatile. We've been very busy trying to get ready for the Slow Food Farm tour and they just jumped in and have been ready for anything.






Today, they planted onions, Picked purslane, moved ducklings,

Helped to repair a goldfish pond with Bentonite Clay 

We also have Rayven's mom Dana here AND her two sisters, Jade and Ember, helping us get ready for the farm tour also. It's a good thing they are all here as last night getting ready for their arrival last night and I had to rush to the ER for 7 stitches because I sliced my finger open on a tin can. That's what I get for not eating Local right? With all their help, we have gotten so much accomplished. 

So anyway, the tour is Sunday, all the spots have been booked and we're ready for the crowd to jump into our lake. First the crowd will go to Vicki Lander's Flower Hill farm which is also where Rosy Buck farms too after lunch there prepared by David Kirkland at Turn, then after a cut flower bonanza, everyone heads here for a tour, some Lemonade and a dip in Lake Heavenly Cove. Ninety Degrees so wear Sunblock.
