Memorial Day Market 2016

            Market List;
Endive, We have an influx of it right now. It's great in Salads, sautéed or stir fried. Very versatile, while it's technically a leafy green, similar to Romaine in structure, it also fits the bill in many other cooking styles. Not to be confused with Belgian Endive.
Superfood Salad Mix- Endive, Lambsquarter, Arugula, Kale, Bok Choy, Radish,
Mache and Wood Sorrel.
Cilantro
Lamb-Steaks, Chops, 3 kinds of Brats- Plain, Jalapeño and Garlic Butter
Red and White Scallions and a limited amount of Snow Peas

Tomato Plants for 2 more weeks- It's time folks. This week and next are prime planting weeks and then it will be almost getting too late. Here's a reminder of our varieties;

Caspian Pink, Golden Jubilee
Early Girl, Dr. Wyche's
Lemon Boy, Pork Chop
Pantano Romanesco, Arkansas Traveler
Japanese Black Trifele, Homestead
Pink Girl - Green Zebra
Gold Nugget-Green Copia
Paul Robeson-Striped German
Purple Carbon-Cherokee Green
Black Plum-Cherokee Purple
Washington Cherry-Violet Jasper
Juliet- Eva Purple Ball
Chocolate Cherry-Rutgers
Mortgage Lifter-Sweet Carneros
Black from Tula

I have a few Moscovich that finally are growing that I am bringing for those of you who keep asking.

Hopefully the rain will miss the Market window. 80 degrees and so should be great Lemonade weather. Don't forget our Lemonade was voted #1 in St. Louis and our Green Tea with Jasmine is delicately sweetened with Robins local honey. We haven't raised our cup prices in 10 years, at 2.00 it's the best deal at the Market.

Oh yes and a couple of you ordered Legs of Lamb 2 weeks ago. They are ready.

God's blessings on you and yours,

TTFN,

Sam and Bill
