Slow Food Talk

Market List- Rainbow Cherry Tomato Mix, Slow Food Cayuga Duck Eggs, Sam's Famous Salsa,
Grass Fed Lamb, Dill Pickles and  TOMATILLOS!

So it's been awhile since we have really talked about Slow and most specifically the Slow Food St. Louis Grants.
As many of you know from the market, we have received several of these grants. Our most favorite of these of course has been our Cayuga Ducks
or maybe it was the Heirloom tomatoes that helped improve my greenhouse for drying, The St. Croix Sheep one which increased my flock and pastures or the Old Type Rhode Island Red Chickens? This year was the Heirloom Fruit Trees. Next week we will be talking about where we are with all of these, what products we bring to market from them and how they have benefited the farm as well as the Species involved and markets that they touch.

See you tomorrow at the Tower Grove Farmers Market. Forecast is sunny and 89 degrees so stop and get a glass of St. Louis's Best Lemonade or Organic Green Tea with Jasmine. At 2.00 a cup, it's the best deal at the market.

God's Blessings on you and yours
