July 18th Market

What an aggravating year for weather. I was thinking back over the seasons. The last time we had a year like this was 2000 and the year before it was 1993. This week went straight to 90+ degrees. Great swimming weather and luckily there was someone around to swim with me. Last Sunday we had a great time celebrating my birthday here at the farm and a few Market people got to see what a great swimming hole we have. I am so blessed, in so many ways.

We began getting ripe tomatoes on Sunday and I have been picking green ones to give the vines a chance to recover from the rain onslaught that we had for so long. The okra is finally perking up as are the peppers that survived. They were in the row with the tadpoles swimming on either side.

So for Market this week, we have;
Tomatillos,
Sunflower Bouquets with Red Hot Pokers
Pickles
Basil and
Sam's Famous Salsa

Come and see us for a Glass of our St. Louis Famous Lemonade...94 degrees tomorrow. Our Lemonade and Organic Green Tea with Jasmine is the best deal at the market at 2.00 a cup.

God's Blessings on you and yours,

TTFN

Sam and Bill
