Things have slowed down here on the farm but winter chores have replaced the harvest bustle. For instance, my frost free hydrant has already frozen up and made carrying buckets of water to the sheep and fowl necessary. Ughhh! I hate the cold. Year round heat and tomatoes for me.

It's time for the Christmas Markets- on December 14th we will be at the new location for the Tower Grove Market, the New School at the City Garden Montessori at 1618 Tower Grove Avenue.
All of the vendors and the market staff are very excited about the chance to sell at this new venue. Plenty of parking and space for the vendors. There should be plenty of variety. For instance, we will be bringing;

Holiday Greenery including, pesticide and chemical free Boxwood and Holly wreaths and Holly bunches, this year they even have berries.

Almost completely Grass Fed Lamb -chops, steaks, stew, ground, organ meat and even 2 kinds of Bratwurst- Cherry or Basil and Thyme. Call or email us to reserve. The bratwurst will go fast.

As usual there will be fresh pecans for the holiday pies or just for your holiday health.

Think of us when planning your holiday gifts. Pick up a jar of jam, Garlicky Chili Sauce, Cherry Serrano Pepper Jelly Pepper, a pound of pecans, Cinnamon Honey Pecans, 1 of four kinds of granola or a package of bratwurst. We'll have lots of stuff decorated so it can be dropped straight into a stocking or gift bag.

December 21st we will be at Schlafly at Maplewood with more of the same.

We'll see you at both Markets.
