Busy July

Finally a Sunflower Field

Also last Sunday was my birthday and this is what Bill gave me for the dock. It's Metal so it won't blow into the water when we get a bad storm. It will be harder anyway. That's my granddaughter Skyler in the background.

While they were here, Bill and Chris my son in law, and Andrew my Gra
ndson finished the front of the barn. Chris tore out the last of the bad boards and then they replaced them with the rough sawn oak which we traded for the Pyrenees pups. It was the inside walls of an old house on a dairy farm about the age of our own farmhouse. They will ask about another 150+ years. Here they all are at the ladders. It's so cool to have whole front enclosed. This has been one of our goals for 18 years.

So Saturday it's 96 degrees again. Dress in loose clothes and come see us for lemonade and our unique spin on farming. Pick up some Purslane and try it out. Say hi to our new worker Tom.
See you there.

God's Blessings on you and yours,

TTFN
