Market List; Sour Cherries, Spicy Forager Salad Mix, Swiss Chard, Garlic Scapes, Red Romaine Lettuce, Purslane and Bouquets. Not sure whether the radishes will be People or Sheep food until I start pulling them, also Free Range Chicken eggs and Slow Food Cayuga Duck eggs.
Plants; I am bringing a few of the tomato varieties for anyone who needs to fill in a gap as well as Thai, and Genovese Basil, Cilantro, Italian Parsley, Spearmint and Scarlett Bee Balm.
I will have some Pickled Cauliflower this week.

This will be the last week for the Cherries, we seriously had to fight the squirrels for them, Even with the netting, they still got more than I felt was fair. The ducks have been laying like crazy, the chickens -just so so. No snakes this week -so far, which is good because we have 2 more ducks still on nests and the Muscovy is more than 2 weeks into her brooding.
I have almost finished planting tomatoes. I got about another 100+ in this week and Bill has one more fence to put up so I can get in another short row. We have ended up with a lot of extra plants due to the oddness of the market with the virus issues. I put them on eBay which is a pain, but I have gotten rid of some of them that way. This week, I got in more Yard Long Beans and yes, more Kentucky Wonders, Malabar Spinach, Cardinal Basil, Italian Parsley and Dill. We have blossoms on the cucumbers and I hate to speak the name, but we haven't seen a squash bug yet. Cucumber beetles are present and accounted for but they seem to be staying on the Pigweed trap crop and the tomatillos. The viruses they carry, don't affect those plants, only cucumbers and squash. So far, so good.

So Saturday's Market will look different again. The park is opening up to traffic and some of us will be on the Square and some on the circle. They are letting some of us on half of the circle. I have asked to be on the Square but we haven't received our marching orders yet. Also just an FYI, Patrick is negotiating with the Baptist Church on Magnolia to see if we can finish out the season there. After next week they will start making us move our vehicles again and of course this will affect parking and traffic in the park as we are trying to set up and break down- especially break down and it blocks up traffic in the park while we are in line waiting to get into the Square.
This is a small section of info this week if you would like to weigh in with the park

We are just in the initial talks with the church and our best guess is it will be a few weeks before we know whether we can make the move or not. In the meantime, we have to work with the space we have in Tower Grove Park. I will distribute a layout map with vendor locations in the next few days as well as new set up instructions. Vendors will not be able to keep their vehicles with them starting next Saturday.

I understand you may have concerns about this move within the park. I have tried, unsuccessfully, to convince park management that we would like to stay where we are. If you would like to discuss these concerns directly with the park, Liz Hickox is the point of contact and her email is lhickox@towergrovepark.org.

We'll see you Saturday. It's supposed to be hot so dress accordingly.

God's Blessings on you and yours,

TTFN,

Sam and Bill
