Saturday we will be at The Montessori School
@ 1618 Tower Grove Avenue.
Market List;
Salad Mix, 3 kinds of Lamb Steaks, 3 kinds of Lamb Bratwurst, Chops, Stew Meat and maybe some burger too. Have to see what's left under the steak, we sold out of everything that we took last market. Be sure and stock up on Brats for the summer.
The germination chamber in the greenhouse is full of tomatoes and pepper plants. We have a few new varieties and lots of the old favorites. We all know that know that this year has to be better than last tomato-wise...right? Worst year in 30 years for tomatoes. Makes me feel really old to say that but that's how long that I've been keeping track of how and what varieties taste and perform the best. The 2 must go hand in hand or it's not worth it. Still so many out there that I haven't tried yet. Which is why I keep sampling.
The ducks are laying finally. Look at some of these beautiful colors. All from the Cayuga duck, compliments of a Slow Food St. Louis grant.
So I will see you Saturday at The Montessori School. I guess I will be working alone this time.
God's blessings on you and yours,
TTFN,
Sam and Bill
