Farm Hands

We've had 3 frost warnings this week and but no frost until last night. Still we are picking tomatillos and tomatoes. Above are my niece, Maysun Elizabeth Scout and nephew, Andrew. They've been helping me w/the tomatillos. I joke that we should change the name of the farm to Terre de Tomatillo but this summer even though the tomatillos were everywhere as usual, we didn't get any to speak of until Mid October. Last weekend was the end of the Summer market season at Tower Grove. It was a great market, we sold a lot of lamb and a lot of salsa from the tomatillos.
Tomorrow and Sunday we will be at Union Craft Fair in Union, Mo with all our canned goods,
granola, and quilted items from Sally's Quilts.
On the 19th, we will be back at Schlafly Bottleworks. We have a leg of Lamb left if anyone is interested in it for Thanksgiving, just give us a call or email. We will have 2 more lambs available for Christmas by the time that we come back to the St. John's Market which is of course the Winter Market for Tower Grove.

Come out and see us this weekend at the Union Middle school Craft Fair.

TTFN,

Sam and Bill
